Waiting: where to start, and why this passage

Psalm 13:1-2 is the passage for waiting. You get the verses in full, the part of the story they sit inside, and a question to sit with. It takes about a minute, and you can have it now.

How long is allowed to be the question

The psalm asks it four times and does not answer it here.

Psalm 13 is a short prayer of complaint. It opens with repeated questions about delay and about God seeming hidden, and turns toward trust only later.

Read it in full, with the World English Bible text and the King James reading of the same verses, on the Psalm 13:1-2 page.

If this is not quite it

Say what is going on in your own words instead.

You do not have to decide which heading you belong under. Type a sentence about what happened and it will find the closest of the thirteen. If nothing sits close, it says so.

The library lists all thirteen with a description of each, because situations get filed under words people would not always guess.

If what you are carrying is heavier than a page can hold, this is not the place for it. Nobody is reading what you type into this site.
