Fear: where to start, and why this passage

Psalm 56:3-4 is the passage for fear. You get the verses in full, the part of the story they sit inside, and a question to sit with. It takes about a minute, and you can have it now.

It starts by admitting the fear

The line does not tell anyone to stop being afraid. It says what to do while afraid.

Psalm 56 is David’s prayer while in danger from enemies. It moves between fear and trust rather than treating the fear as something to get past first.

Read it in full, with the verses on either side, on the Psalm 56:3-4 page.

If this is not quite it

Say what is going on in your own words instead.

You do not have to decide which heading you belong under. Type a sentence about what happened and it will find the closest of the thirteen. If nothing sits close, it says so.

The library lists all thirteen with a description of each, because situations get filed under words people would not always guess.

If what you are carrying is heavier than a page can hold, this is not the place for it. Nobody is reading what you type into this site.
