Doubt: where to start, and why this passage

James 1:5 is the passage for doubt. You get the verses in full, the part of the story they sit inside, and a question to sit with. It takes about a minute, and you can have it now.

James presents uncertainty as a place to ask, not a reason to hide or pretend.

James writes to people facing trials and invites them to seek wisdom with honesty and perseverance.

Read it in full, with the World English Bible text and the King James reading of the same verses, on the James 1:5 page.

If this is not quite it

Say what is going on in your own words instead.

You do not have to decide which heading you belong under. Type a sentence about what happened and it will find the closest of the thirteen. If nothing sits close, it says so.

The library lists all thirteen with a description of each, because situations get filed under words people would not always guess.

If what you are carrying is heavier than a page can hold, this is not the place for it. Nobody is reading what you type into this site.
