Caring for someone: where to start, and why this passage
Isaiah 40:11 is the passage for caring for someone. You get the verses in full, the part of the story they sit inside, and a question to sit with. It takes about a minute, and you can have it now.

The verse does not stop at the lambs. It puts the ones responsible for them among those handled gently.
Isaiah 40 describes God returning to a people worn out by a long ordeal. The shepherd picture covers the flock, the lambs carried in his arm, and the ones walking with their young.
Read it in full, with the World English Bible text and the King James reading of the same verses, on the Isaiah 40:11 page.
If this is not quite it
Say what is going on in your own words instead.
You do not have to decide which heading you belong under. Type a sentence about what happened and it will find the closest of the thirteen. If nothing sits close, it says so.
The library lists all thirteen with a description of each, because situations get filed under words people would not always guess.
If what you are carrying is heavier than a page can hold, this is not the place for it. Nobody is reading what you type into this site.
