Anxiety: where to start, and why this passage

Matthew 11:28-30 is the passage for anxiety. You get the verses in full, the part of the story they sit inside, and a question to sit with. It takes about a minute, and you can have it now.

An invitation, not a demand

This passage makes room to bring weariness to Jesus rather than carrying it alone.

In Matthew 11, Jesus speaks to people carrying heavy burdens and invites them to come to him and learn from him. The invitation does not deny difficulty; it names Jesus as gentle and humble and continues into a way of life with him.

Read it in full, with the World English Bible text and the King James reading of the same verses, on the Matthew 11:28-30 page.

If this is not quite it

Say what is going on in your own words instead.

You do not have to decide which heading you belong under. Type a sentence about what happened and it will find the closest of the thirteen. If nothing sits close, it says so.

The library lists all thirteen with a description of each, because situations get filed under words people would not always guess.

If what you are carrying is heavier than a page can hold, this is not the place for it. Nobody is reading what you type into this site.
